February 27.02.2020, 10 | The technology markets are subject to an ever-increasing growth in data. The focus is primarily on fast and secure data transmission. The common standard solutions are often not sufficient, as the technical requirements for robust and space-saving industrial connectors in these applications are continually increasing. With the new XNUMX GBit/s Ethernet Inserts for the AMC high density Connectors Series, offers ODU a CAT 6A Solution for these requirements.
The inserts for the robust Miniature circular connectors ensure high-performance data transmission and meet the current MIL standards. ODU offers AMC High-Density series of connectors for use in military technology and Safety Technology including cable assembly, overmolding for standard and customer-specific use or flex layer assemblies. Of course, they are also suitable for other markets with such demanding requirements. The connectors are offered in high quality, reliable and customized system solutions.
03.02.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX | The miniature Connectors Han DDD by Harting covers the miniaturization in Robotic and Automation services currently the most consistent. The triple D stands for the highest contact density. The secure signal transmission of the components also requires very little space.
16.01.2020 | Yamaichi's Electronics connector Y-Circ M with internal locking in IP65 / IP 67 is the first space-saving M12 push-pull connector design to receive the international standard IEC 61076-2-012. This enables design-ins for M12 connectors without proprietary solutions.
The cable-side plug of the M12 push-pull connector snaps deep into the device socket from the inside using the locking hooks. This means that the push-pull circular connector with push-pull locking requires exactly the same installation space as a common M12 connection with screw locking. With this technology, the M12 device socket can be completely integrated into the end device like the distribution box.
With Kuka from the Harting connector to robot connectivity
The components are sealed to IP65 / IP67 protection class. It uses independent sealing concepts for screw and push-pull connectors. This means that mixed applications of the components are reliably possible. Thanks to the particularly long locking hooks, it is also mechanically extremely robust, even in applications with torsional loads.
The locking hooks of the cable plug are supported against the thread segments of the device socket. This offers significant advantages when exposed to torsion and rotation. All the advantages of push-pull locking are available to the user, such as miniaturization, blind and tool-free plugging or time savings. In addition, the M12 connector is easy to handle in accordance with the standardized M12 specifications.
The push-pull circular connector has now been standardized according to the international standard CDV IEC 61076-2-012. During the international standardization, industry-standard requirements regarding device integration and functionality were introduced and taken into account. This is the basis for cross-manufacturer compatibility, which has already been demonstrated between different manufacturers. The implementation of IEC 61076-2-012 took less than two years.
The device socket can accommodate conventional M12 connectors with screw locking. Users are therefore not required to use a special Cables Plug in and remain flexible. The push-pull connector from Yamaichi Electronics is available in the codings A, B, D. X coding for high data rates according to CAT.6A. L coding for power transmission will follow soon.
