The Schmersal For the first time, the group and its sales partner Scanmin Africa (Pty) Ltd are presenting holistic system solutions for the mining, cement, bulk materials and conveyor industries. Both companies entered into a cooperation in 2016. Their wide range of products complements each other and includes systems for personal and process protection as well as analysis instruments on an online and real-time basis for bulk material handling.

Real-time information for process control

Scanmin Africa specializes in radioisotope mass spectral analysis of materials such as coal, cement, minerals and ores. With this technology, real-time information can be generated for process control, but also quality controls can be carried out during operation.

The extensive range of products and solutions from Schmersal for the bulk material conveyor industry, on the other hand, is focused on protecting employees and processes.
