03.07.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX – The optical sensor K30 Pro von Turck is suitable for applications that require... optical sensor and need a multicolor LED display. The very compact device with a diameter of 30 mm is a space-saving solution at a low price from Turck's opto partner Banner Engineering. It is designed to detect objects in an adjustable range from 20 to 1000mm for clear operator guidance.

The K30 Pro has different teach modes. These are object mode to detect an object within a specified area, background mode to detect an object while suppressing the background, and window mode to detect an object in an area between two thresholds. This flexibility prevents unnecessary triggering of the sensor. The K30 Pro is therefore suitable for applications in Automotive industry, process industry, material handling and materials handling.

The installation of the K30 Pro Optical Sensor is user-friendly via a M12-Connectors. It can be quickly disconnected if necessary. Because the operation is touch-free, possible contamination by the user is prevented. Display colors, ranges and logic can be easily configured on site using the free Pro Editor software. With protection class IP65, the sensor is insensitive to ambient light and electromagnetic interference and is suitable for demanding environments with reliable and accurate detection.

The LED signal lights K100 Pro Indicator has a diffuse lens. This appears white when switched off. This means that misinterpretations are also ruled out here. 14 color options for status and display applications are available. Animations include options like flash, wave, and intensity boost. Both lights are optionally available with an acoustic alarm and are protected against rain, snow or dust by protection class IP66.

The LED signal lights are digitally controlled. The signal lamp is suitable for users who do not have IO-Link and still Control- and want customization options for the visual reporting of information. About the Pro editor software from Banner, the device status, animations and colors of the signal lamp can be programmed. The indicator light can be easily configured for a wide range of applications via a PC-based interface. Examples are the display of the results of the warm-up time of a machine, information about individual assembly steps or the Communication various machine states.

The LED lights can be programmed in such a way that during normal operation they are Work Light shine bright white. When the machine is at a standstill, it lights up, e.g. Bread. Temperatures, counting functions, position information or cycle times can also be visualized.

The LED combination of white and RGB colors users have a large selection of light colors. The RGBW LEDs are superior to the pure RGB variants in combined applications for lighting, display or inspection, because RGB lighting mixes white light. Their luminosity is therefore often insufficient for workplace lighting.
