Rodriguez offers slew drives as ready-to-install assemblies with a housing and seal, as well as an optional electrical or hydraulic drive. In this way, users benefit from low installation and maintenance costs. The quarter turn drives in three sizes can be individually adapted to special customer requirements and are immediately available from stock.

In the ready-to-install solutions, the housing, ball slewing connection and drive screws are perfectly matched. The slewing drives ensure optimum transmission of forces and high torques in a closed unit with a long service life and high reliability. They are available in common standard dimensions and many motor connections and can be easily integrated into existing applications.

Engine and gearbox design energy-efficient and free of charge

The compact swivel drives are particularly flat, support high torques and can also be used in performance-critical applications as well as in heavy-duty applications. They are used, for example, in aerial work platforms, municipal mowers and smaller ship cranes. An application is for example a mobile harbor crane in Russia. Because the slew drive is exposed to low temperatures, it was equipped with a special ring material.

Housing bearing replacement saves significant TCO

Matching brakes and sensors for position feedback are available for the modular swivel drives. Upon request, the manufacturer will adapt it to customer-specific applications: ua. The components can be strengthened, the drives modified or equipped with additional measuring technology. The individual swivel drives are already available from small quantities.
