The new Wago I / O System Field with IP67 protection from Wago integrates fast, Ethernet-based fieldbuses such as Profinet, technologies such as OPC UA or web server, and in future also MQTT as a communication protocol, for example for connection to the cloud. In addition, the system is ready for TSN, the key technology for end-to-end, flexible, powerful and secure networking.

The Field I / O System supports all major Ethernet, fieldbus and Industrial IoT standards. Various IP67 housing variants are available for optimum adaptation to the respective application and machine: fully encapsulated metal housings for harsh environments and additionally lightweight, unshrouded low-mass plastic housings for moving applications. Narrow housing variants and lateral mounting options create additional space and offer additional protection options.

In combination with IO-Link, the system fully demonstrates its strengths as a flexible "IO-Distributor" when collecting and distributing data. The communication standard enables seamless data flow from the sensor level to the control level. "

The sensors and actuators are connected via globally available M8 and M12 cables. The power supply of the IO-System Field is solved with a high-current M12 connector in L-coding. It is smaller and cheaper than marketable solutions in 7 / 8 inches as well as M23 and able to provide up to 16 A. This allows more power to be connected in less space.
