abm0216The new single-stage spur gear motors from ABM Greiffenberger are energy-efficient, low-maintenance and particularly durable. In addition, the drive technology specialist has added a medium version with basic equipment and standard features to its "Premium Line" motor series, which is suitable for use in pumps and compressorsen suit.

The single-stage helical geared motors achieve a high overall efficiency. This saves a lot of energy. High-quality helical gears in the gearbox ensure particularly quiet running.

The aluminum engine and gearbox housings are particularly lightweight. This makes the drive easy to handle and obstruct without much effort. The aluminum version makes the engine and transmission very resistant to corrosion. A special paint job is therefore not required. Due to its variable mounting dimensions, the compact drive system can be flexibly integrated into different machine concepts. This reduces the assembly effort. An extended bearing clearance increases the allowable radial forces and provides optimum performance. They robust geared motors are almost completely maintenance-free. They are available as medium and premium line.

The Medium-Line as standard version has a lush basic equipment. In combination with a gearbox, they are designed as 4-pole motors. The housing is made of die-cast and is particularly stable. The motor line is self-ventilated - the fan sits directly on the motor shaft. Depending on the application, it is available unaerated or it can be attached to a separate fan, z. B. if due to critical operating conditions, the internal ventilation of the engine is insufficient. The Medium-Line is available as a three-phase asynchronous version.

The Premium Line offers more flexible options for temperature control. It is available as a single-phase asynchronous, three-phase asynchronous and as a Sinochron motor, for example for use in textile machines or in logistics systems. This variant offers greater flexibility through additional options. The housing of the two-, four-, six- and eight-pole motors consists of extruded profile. As a result, different power levels and variable housing lengths can be realized.
