All 3D Connexion products now support the beta version of the 3D CAD application SolidWorks "Xdesign" by Dassault Systèmes. In the future, users will be able to construct from anywhere with a 3D mouse and Cadmouse.

That on the 3dexperienceplatform-based Xdesign from Dassault Systèmes is the new CAD and collaboration tool from Solidworks. It can be used cloud-based via the browser and does not require any installations. All current 3Dconnexion products are compatible with Xdesign. Xdesign is a cloud-based CAD solution that supports all browsers. It eliminates the need for installations, while benefiting from all the other benefits of the cloud.

The mice provide up to 28% higher productivity for Xdesign users. The additional use of the 3D mouse places less weight on one side. Moving, zooming and rotating models is done in a fluid motion without the use of the standard mouse. Programmable quick access keys for Xdesign functions and macros as well as the automatic detection of the center of rotation are further features.
