Strong vibrations and oscillations are undesirable in most industrial and machine applications. Even robust components can be permanently damaged by them. For this reason one equips z. B. engines and exhaust systems in vehicles as well as machines, pipes or electronic components with elements for vibration isolation. For such applications, Weforma damping technology has shock-absorbing and vibration-isolating all-metal cushions in its range.
Stainless steel Viso-Line dampers are much more durable and durable than conventional rubber dampers. They are corrosion resistant to solvents, acids, oils and greases. Even UV radiation, liquids or dust can not harm them. The very wide temperature range from -90 ° to + 400 ° C allows it to be used even under extreme conditions. In addition, the cushions are completely maintenance-free, permanently there are no permanent deformations, no hardening and no creeping.
In the manufacture of Viso-Line vibration dampers, thin 0,1 to 0,3 mm thick stainless steel wires are "knitted" into a tubular fabric. This is then pressed into application-specific forms. The cushions are available in a variety of finishes for easy installation and a wide range of applications: Cylindrical with diameters from 14,8 to 62,6 mm and heights up to 23 mm or cuboid with edge lengths from 11 to 65 mm. With a load capacity up to 12 kN, the stroke between 0,2 and 7 mm is for standard cushions. Cushions with higher capacities and strokes are available on request. Natural frequencies from 8 to 50 Hz make it possible to tune the dampers specifically to any desired application. Alternatively, machine feet are offered for fixed screwing on the ground.
