Secure and fast communication via voice control and the wrist: With the new Smart-Ex Watch 01, the Pepperl + Fuchs brand Ecom is adding a real hands-free application to its portfolio of communication solutions for mobile workers. The Smart-Ex Watch 01 is the first Smartwatch for the Ex area in Zone 2/22 and Div. 2.

Based on the Samsung Galaxy Watch, it offers a new form of hands-free communication and enables greater employee protection. It can be combined with the Smart-Ex 02 smartphone and 10 feature phone ex-cell phone, thus supporting a wide range of tasks in potentially explosive areas.

Full freedom of movement and communication and hands-free navigation via advanced voice control or wrist gestures simplify operation. A rotating bezel allows intuitive, quick and easy scrolling through apps and commands, even with gloves. Thanks to integrated GPS, Glonass and motion sensors, the Smart-Ex Watch 01 protects its wearer against the ubiquitous dangers of an industrial environment. By means of a sensor, it is possible to monitor the vital signs for critical conditions. With real-time localization, this means faster access to the location.

In addition to the Ex certification, the Smart-Ex Watch 01 is tested according to the American military standard (MIL-STD-810G) and withstands drops, vibrations and shocks. The 3D dial is also readable in direct sunlight and is protected by a long-lasting, scratch-resistant GorillaGlass SR +. In addition, the Smartwatch is dust-tight, waterproof to 50 m to ISO standard and works at temperature extremes from -15 ° to + 50 ° C. The Smart-Ex Watch 01 is completely B2B-capable.
