High-precision dosing and filling technology for liquid to pasty substances

Food that is packed in sachets, stick packs or pouches is popular due to its quick availability in portions. The trend towards smaller packaging sizes for cosmetic products is also noticeable. Viscotec offers dosing and filling systems for this, in order to be able to dose the most difficult liquids reliably, non-destructively and with high precision.
A special focus today is on the process of bag filling. In order to achieve a high frequency of production, it is important to concatenate the individual process steps as short and fluidly as possible. A precise and complex fine tuning of the metering components is absolutely necessary for this. In order to avoid the dripping of thread-pulling products, complex cut-off and closing devices and valves are often used. However, this additional equipment is increasingly subject to wear and annoying maintenance.
This is no challenge for the dosing systems from Viscotec: the smallest quantities are dosed or filled with a repeat accuracy of more than 99%. Thanks to the proven endless piston principle and its special rotor-stator geometry, no valve technology is needed to prevent an independent and uncontrolled outflow of the medium. At the end of the dosing process, a programmable retraction occurs, which is adjusted to the product and ensures drip-free and thread-free filling. The individually controllable dosing units guarantee hermetically sealed, reliable sealing seams with their sophisticated eccentric screw technology for any product characteristic and thus support product quality and compliance with safety standards.
Repeat accuracy is 99%. The products are protected by low-shear and pulsation-free, continuous production. Dripping due to adjustable retraction is no longer necessary. The guidelines EHEDG, FDA, 3.1 and GMP are met and the cleaning results for CIP / SIP are optimal.
