Würth Elektronik ICS is expanding its "Redline" product line for the central electrics with the Power Logic Module. With the new standard module, vehicle manufacturers can integrate logical control functions more flexibly and cost-effectively into their existing solutions. Commercial vehicle manufacturers in particular, who have to equip their vehicles with many special functions, have the opportunity with the module to implement these functions in a contemporary way, especially with high currentrelay can be controlled.
The Power Logic Module offers connections for Micro ICCS modules (1 analog +3 digital inputs) or ICCS Micro CAN (2 analog inputs)and thus connects the Redline product range with the ICCS product range. It also has two connections for high current relays. One of the high current relays is protected by a fuse. The Power Logic Module can process CAN commands directly and evaluate two analog signals in addition to the CAN information. It is available in a 12 V version and a 24 V version.
The module extends the application range of the Redline central electrics. Since the entire line consists of standard products, vehicle manufacturers get products that can be delivered immediately without having to invest in special development efforts. You can control the vehicle functions quickly, space-saving and flexibly via the central electrical system. The Redline central electrical system is manufactured using press-fit technology and is characterized by stable and reliable connections between the printed circuit board and press-in pins, a low contact resistance, and thus the low thermal load on the module. Due to the fact that the modules are fitted on both sides, the modules are so compact that they can be installed even in the smallest of spaces.
