The EX-I-RS655 pull-rope emergency switch was designed with double-sided action for long distances. The installation costs were significantly reduced thanks to a maximum cable length of 2 x 100 m and the central connection terminal. The central connection terminal allows a simple and fast wiring. There is an optional EX-I-RS655 protection switch with an integrated Duplinesafe interface for a safe series connection including diagnostics.

Belt alignment monitoring with Ex protection for conveyor systems

The Belt misalignment switch with explosion protection EX-T.454 and EX-I-BS655 are made of gray cast iron. They monitor the directional stability on conveyor systems and are arranged in pairs on both sides of the conveyor belt near the drive and deflection rollers.

In the case of uneven loading, position deviations can occur, which in the worst case lead to material overflow or damage. A staggered signal for position monitoring with the pre-warning signal enables a timely tape correction. The stop signal leads to the shutdown of the conveyor system.

The EX-I-BS655 series is based on the multifunctional HDS product platform. With a basic switch, various actuating elements, different roller diameters and adjustable switching angles, it can be flexibly adapted to the respective belt conveyor system. The connection to the pre-assembled central connection terminal is very easy.

The Atex switches EX-T.454 and EX-I-BS655 are also available with one duplin fieldbusinterfacewhich offers greater convenience in diagnosis with little wiring effort. The explosion protection switchgear is designed according to the requirements of the ATEX directive 2014/34 / EU. With the Iecex approval, they also meet the international requirements for explosion protection.
