Weco manufactures PCB terminals with overlong, angled or double solder pins. Produced at the headquarters in Hanau, the pens can be applied to a straight or angled surface. This guarantees an optimal casting of boards with components without any restrictions. The products that are used in heating technology, for example, offer a wide range of variants.
In addition, the manufacturer offers welded solder pins with a length from 4,1 to 100 mm. Also, double solder pins can be commissioned, which, among other things, enable a higher torque to connect the conductor and therefore offer the highest level of safety even in end user installations.
Lengths up to 100 mm are possible
The specialist in connection technology uses a special process to create tailor-made and long-lasting connections between the clamp body and the solder pin. Even overlong, angled or solder pins with staggered arrangement are possible. The company manufactures custom-made products with lengths of up to 100 mm, which are perfect for projects requiring a greater distance between the screw terminal and the printed circuit board.
Furthermore, there are double solder pins in the portfolio, which guarantees not only higher tear-off forces but also the use as a "poka-yoke" for a correct positioning on the PCB. The company's orthogonal solutions are used as soon as there is limited board edge space. The solder pins can run either directly behind or parallel to the PCB edge.
