A year ago Basler (Distribution Rauscher) is changing its portfolio with the Boost series Cameras with Coaxpress 2.0 interface expanded. These are with modern CMOS Sensors fitted. High resolution Boost Coaxpress 2.0 cameras

The new Coaxpress Boost cameras 20, 32 and 45 megapixels complement the Boost series with the proven Sony Pregius sensors IMX255 with 9 MP resolution and 93 fps frame rate and IMX253 with 12 MP and 68 fps. The high-resolution new models contain powerful CMOS sensors with the latest global shutter technology and deliver frame rates of up to 45 fps. The XGS sensors perfectly replace older CCD sensors with excellent image quality at a higher frame rate and lower costs.

Thanks to its Coaxpress 2.0 interface, the Basler Boost Camera is suitable for applications up to 40 m Distances for image transmissionwhere high resolutions and data rates are required. Camera and interface from a single source offer that Boost bundle. In addition to the Boost Coaxpress Camera and the matching CXP 12 interface card, there is also a CXP 12 accessory starter kit for the time and cost-saving evaluation phase. With compact dimensions of 80 x 80 x 45 mm, the camera contains a digital input and 2 GPIO ports with a maximum cable length of 40 m.

Evaluation kit for smooth image data traffic

The Coaxpress 12 Evaluation kit was put together for the time and cost-saving, optimal evaluation phase of an image processing system. The included CXP 12 interface card was specially developed for combination with the Boost camera. The card connects the Coaxpress camera via a CXP 12 channel for smooth image data transfer. Both components can be controlled via the Pylon Camera Software Suite. They form an optimal unit for efficient evaluation and integration into the application.

The CXP 12 Starter Kit Contains a CXP data cable, two heat sinks for optimal thermal management of the Coaxpress camera outside of the image processing system, a C-mount lens adapter and an I / O cable for external triggering of the camera.
