Power supplies and UPS systems for automation and medical technology

The range of power supplies or UPS systems required is as wide as the range of applications. Gebr. Frei shows a whole range of interesting solutions, starting with power supply units that already support the new ASi-5 standard, through uninterruptible power supplies with different energy stores and buffer times to application-specific solutions, e.g. B. for medical technology.
With the new ASi-5 standard, the course has now been set for the next dimension of digitization. Of course, this also requires power supplies that are tailored to your requirements. A power supply unit with 30,5 V DC output voltage and data decoupling is required for each line in order to transmit energy and modulated signals without interference on one line. The manufacturer is one of the first to offer such power supplies. The new primary switching regulators have filters for ASi-5 and ASi-3 and are therefore downward compatible. Depending on the version, they provide 0 ... 8 A or 0 ... 4 A at the output.
For uninterruptible power supplies, the provider offers flexible standard components and individual solutions that are developed in close cooperation with the user. A good example is an uninterruptible power supply made to measure for medical technology. It was developed for so-called nurse call systems in hospitals or nursing homes and is available as an 6A or 9A version. In case of failure of the general power supply, the UPS ensures the function of the call system.
