Rodriguez is one of very few providers of hard chrome-plated in Germany Guide shafts in a manufacturing quality that was previously only reserved for non-hard chrome-plated steel shafts. The precise guide shaft is in h6-Tolerance manufactured in-house. A hard chrome-plated shaft meets the requirements for high wear protection and good corrosion resistance.
These requirements apply above all to handling technology and devices for automation in continuous use. Hard chrome-plated, the guide shaft is also suitable for applications in which particularly high manufacturing accuracies and a high-precision Fit is required. Thanks to our own production, customer-specific adjustments to the respective shaft can be made quickly and flexibly.

All precision guide shaft items from Rodriguez are centerless ground on the one hand, inductively hardened and subjected to extensive quality tests. On the other hand, they offer uniform hardness on the surface or tread in the radial and axial directions. They also meet the strictest specifications regarding cylindrical shape, roundness, roughness and straightness.
