Hy Line holographyThe technology of the holographic touch Displays combine an infraredsensor with an optical 3D element from Japan. The touch display can be retrofitted wherever a video signal and a USB connection for the touchscreen are available.

In the case of the holographic terminal, in the physical sense, the representation of the virtual image is not a hologram. Because no monochromatic, coherent light is used with these touchscreens and the image is not presented depending on the viewing angle.

However, the developers have one specific Materialproperty exploited, which bundles the diffuse outgoing light rays convergently at the location of the virtual image. For this purpose, the content of the image sources (displays) is directed through a special graphic panel. In addition to the angular deflection, a convergent bundling of the rays takes place here. This creates the impression of a floating display from the touchscreen.

Touchscreen luminance of 1000 required

Hy Line holographic touchWhen integrating the optical laws must be observed for the beam path and the reflections. Because the conversion decreases the brightness, the touch display must have a high luminance of around 1000 cd / m².

Below the virtual image there is a Infrared touch sensor. When the image is touched, its beam path is interrupted. This interruption is evaluated as a so-called touch event. This can be single touch, multi-touch or gesture.

The Effect of the touch screen is amazing. Users recognize it straight away and do not need to be instructed. This means that the holographic touchscreen is also suitable for use in public.
