Hy-Line Power Components presents its supercapacitors with a nominal voltage of 3,8 V. The HS series offers up to ten times the capacity with the same size. The new hybrid supercapacitor combines the properties of a super capacitor and a lithium battery.

Thanks to the higher working voltage of 3,8 V (peak voltage: 4,0 V) and currently already eight times the capacity from 30 to 220 F the stored energy is significantly higher. In addition, fewer cells have to be connected in series in order to build modules with higher working voltages. The internal resistance and self-discharge are minimized. The working temperatures range from -25 ° to 85 ° C.
