Ebm Pope introduces two new fans for cooling high-performance electronics in telecommunications and automation: the Axial fan Axiforce and the Diagonal fan Diaforce. With the two fans, the increasing power throughput can be managed through the constant increase in the packing density.
As with an axial fan, the diagonal fan is sucked in and blown out in the axial direction. Compared to a radial fan, this offers structural advantages when integrating the fan into the application.
The Diaforce fan also has a unique Geometrie of impeller and housing. This minimizes turbulence and increases the pressure build-up. The aerodynamic optimization of the fans is quieter with a noise reduction of 6 dB (A) and up to 50% higher air performance.
This plays an important role, especially for cooling electronics with high availability requirements, such as in cellular base stations or data centers. There are already first pattern of the Diaforce fans, series production is planned for spring 2021.
The Axiforce axial fans were developed for applications with high back pressure. These can be found, for example, in Inverter, Robot control or LED display.
Efficient material for the next generation of power electronics
The axial fans are equipped with aerodynamically optimized fan wheels and fan housings. The Axiforce 80 thus achieves an increase in Efficiency to 42% and reduces noise emissions by 7 dB (A).
The Axiforce axial fan is also available with fully encapsulated electronics, which are dust-tight and withstand strong water jets. The axial fan thus fulfills the protection class IP68. There is also an optional axial fan version for higher EMC requirements in accordance with DIN EN 55032 class B. The sizes of the Axiforce fans are 80 x 80 x 38 mm, 120 x 120 x 38 mm and 172 x 150 x 51 mm.
