Coating thickness measuring device for wood, paper and plastic

Flo-ir presents a Send thickness gauge, which can be used to measure layer thicknesses on wood, paper or plastics. For example, if the material is coated very thinly or a lubricant coating is applied, the thickness of the individual layers of the coating can then be verified. 

The measurement takes place Non-destructively and with micrometer precision. The system works independently of the carrier and requires no knowledge of the coating material when fully developed. Using non-destructive optical tomography, each layer in a layer composite is measured and characterized.

Layer thickness measurement ensures quality in powder coating

The optical tomography replaces the microtome or wedge cuts and allows completely non-destructive measurement of the paint layers on glass, plastic, wood, stone, concrete. It is the only process that can be used with all substrates, even if there are glitter particles or scattered particles embedded in the layer.
