OKW housing systems presents new wall case called Smart panel. The elegant look in rectangular or square Housing is suitable for modern residential, commercial and industrial environments. The Smart Panels are used for convenient control and monitoring of an entire Technical Building Services.
The smart panels have an attractive design. As a result, they adapt optimally to the environment. Cables bound control or operating centers or radio-networked devices in Smart Home and IIoT Applications, access controls, surveillance devices, data acquisition systems and Medical Technology are conceivable applications here. The Smart Panel is available from stock in two sizes.
Smart panel in two formats
The square shape measures 84 x 84 mm. These Smart Panels are prepared for invisible mounting on common flush-mounted and cavity wall boxes. The rectangular form measures 155 x 84 mm. This version is suitable for invisible installation on simple plaster boxes, double plaster boxes and larger installation boxes up to a maximum height of 145 mm with a width of 74 mm.
Both versions are in color traffic white (RAL 9016) made of high quality ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0). The lower part of the housing is highly polished, the upper part has a fine surface structure with a recessed control panel for display/controls, membrane keyboards and touch displays.
IP65 selector switch with M12 connection for decentralized use
The Installation takes place without screws by means of a locking function. The Smart Panel was designed in protection class IP 40, which is sufficient for indoor applications. The range of accessories includes a de-raster to open the housing, hard paper to protect the electronic components and a glass pane for display applications. The Smart Panel has a flat, recessed surface for USB or mini USB Connectors.
Diverse modifications can be tailored to individual customer requirements such as cutouts for operating and display elements as well as interfaces, printing, labeling, EMC aluminum vapor deposition, special colors, special materials, decorative foils and assembly activities.
