Because the expected demand quantities are falling in most industries, KVH Hartung presents plastic vacuum deep-drawn parts produced using the negative process as a real alternative to injection molding. The result is housings that cannot be distinguished from the injection molded part when closed.

Especially with quantities from 1 to 1000, the process is competitive due to significantly lower tool costs. Work is done with colored materials, painting is eliminated. The surface structure is created by the tool. Circumferential undercuts, metal threaded dome, even sandwich construction with stainless steel inserts are possible.

High-performance materials are increasingly coming to the fore. UL certified materials, UV and weather resistance or EMC shielding are no longer a specialty in deep drawing. The manufacturer manufactures the whole range from the classic packaging blister made from 0,3 mm material to the 10 mm thick material body - max size: from 2900 x 1400 X 600 mm.
