The safe small control MSC from Euchner is a universal, freely programmable and modularly expandable safety system for the protection of machines and systems. Suitable for almost all safety-related tasks, it can monitor a large number of safety-related devices. Applications with up to 8 inputs and 2 outputs can already be implemented with the basic module.
In addition, the safe small controller can be expanded with several different input and output modules. This enables the user to put together his MSC individually. Also for connecting to different fieldbusse a wide range of different modules is available.

The programming takes place via a PC by means of the software "Safety Designer". It is clearly structured and can be operated simply and intuitively. There are a variety of different security functions and various logical operators available for the configuration. For commissioning, the PC is connected directly to the base module MSC-CB via USB cable and the program is loaded. Optionally, the base module can be equipped with a memory module. On this a copy of the actual program is automatically saved, in order to allow a quick replacement of the defective device in an emergency.
