The Weiss environmental technology GmbH, a company of the Schunk Group, and the Vötsch industrial technology GmbH are now to White technique GmbH merged. Both companies immediately appear as one company for the areas of environmental simulation and thermal engineering. The merger was preceded by a long collaboration.

Weiss technology news

Both companies are among the most important manufacturers of systems for Environmental simulation with air conditioning, among other things. The two locations Reiskirchen from Weiss Umwelttechnik and Balingen from Vötsch Industrietechnik will be retained. The contacts, products and services will also be maintained.

The Test cabinets von Weisstechnik simulate the environment. Test specimens are exposed to desert heat and polar cold as well as high humidity or extreme dryness. Based on the results, manufacturers can make their products safer and more robust.

Weiss Technik Fusion: How it all began

In 1995 Weiss Umwelttechnik acquired Vötsch Industrietechnik from Heraeus accepted. Both companies operated independently under their own name. However, they grew closer and closer together over the years. The service teams have been operating under the common name Weiss Umwelttechnik since January 2016. The successful merger has now been formally completed with a new name.

With the new name, customers can now more easily assign the previously different product areas to the company. The appearance with the same name will be easier in the future, especially globally. The merger also makes that easier internal reporting.

In the future, heat technology devices will be represented by the product area of the same name. These products were previously available from Vötsch. The brand name Votschoven remains in place even after the takeover. The range includes heating cabinets, drying cabinets, industrial ovens, vacuum dryers or infrared and continuous ovens.
