Thomas Weis has been with Bühler Motor since 2002. He began his career in the company as Head of Controlling at Bühler Motor GmbH. As early as 2004, he assumed responsibility for global controlling as Vice President. In addition, Thomas Weis made a decisive contribution to the development of the Internal Audit and Compliance departments. At the beginning of 2017, in addition to controlling and compliance tasks, he also took on responsibility for IT & MIS.

Before joining Bühler Motor, Thomas Weis gained extensive experience as commercial manager at Oberflächentechnik Schmidt in Nuremberg, a supplier of refined surfaces for the telecommunications sector. From 1990 until joining Schmidt, he was head of controlling at Alcan Germany (later Federal Mogul).
Peter Muhr, most recently Co-CEO of the Bühler Motor Group and Managing Director of Bühler Motor GmbH, took early retirement on December 31.12.2019, 14 for health reasons.
