Universally applicable straight seat valve with membrane drive for control tasks

The universally applicable Gemü 536 straight seat valve is robustly constructed and reliable in operation. The fitting was developed with a view to a long service life and low maintenance requirements. The externally controlled 2/2-way valve has a diaphragm actuator that can be controlled with neutral gaseous media. The valve seat is shut off by a valve disk that is movably arranged on the valve spindle. In addition to steel, PTFE and a glass fiber reinforced PTFE variant are available as seat seals.

The sealing of the valve spindle takes place via a self-adjusting gland packing. This ensures a low-maintenance and reliable valve spindle seal even after a long period of operation. The likewise inserted scraper ring additionally protects the sealing pack from dirt and damage. As a material for the valve body either stainless steel casting 1.4408 or nodular cast iron GGG40.3 comes into question. A flange according to EN 1092 or ANSI cl. 125 / 150 RF is available for the pipe connection.

Due to the arrangement as Geradsitzventil good flow and controllability is achieved. In the version as a control valve standard control crowns are used. Due to its high quality, Gemü 536 is also suitable for high operating temperatures and pressures. Optionally, an ATEX version is also available.
