Distribution for grease lubrication with faster relief

Lincoln has developed a distributor for the "Centro-Matic" single-line centralized lubrication system, which represents a major step forward for single-line centralized grease lubrication systems. After the metered release of lubricant, the pressure in the single-line distributors must be relieved before another lubrication cycle can take place. Depending on the lubricant and line system, this can become critical for automatic centralized grease lubrication systems when the ambient temperature drops. Due to the two-chamber design and a differential piston, the SL-V distributor can bring about a much faster pressure relief and already reverses at a residual pressure of 69 bar.

The distributors work with stiffer greases. Lines with smaller diameters can be used, which means a reduction in material and assembly costs. Greater flexibility in the selection of lubricant and lubrication lines also extends the scope of application for single-line, high-pressure, centralized lubrication systems. Applications that were traditionally reserved for dual-line centralized lubrication systems are now possible. The distributors of the SL-V series are robust and designed for a working pressure of up to 413 bar. If the seal in a distributor is defective, this will be immediately visible at the bypass outlet of the distributor. The maintenance staff can thus determine without requiring extensive function check of distributors those who need to be repaired.

The SL-V distributor is designed for mining and heavy industry applications, such as the steel and paper industries, and can also be used for grease central lubrication of machines in other industries that have high lubricity friction points. The SL-V distributor has an adjustable dosage of max. 1,31 cm³, The recently available SL-V XL dispenses up to a maximum of 5 cm³, There are different colored Dosierhülsen, can be fixed by the various, different discharge amounts exactly. SL-V and SL-V XL distributors are available in distribution strips with 1 to 6 distributors. The distribution strips are identical to those for the Centro-Matic distributor type SL-1.

With the new distributor series, the lubricant outlets from the distributors can also be summarized externally. When two SL-V XL distributor outlets are combined, the adjustable dosing quantity is still approx. 20% higher than the known Lincoln SL-11 distributor. By combining SL-V and SL-V XL, manifolds can be installed in a space-saving and cost-saving way for lubrication points with medium and large lubricant requirements.
