With innovative process technology for the processing of thermal paste as well as high-performance casting compounds and sealing systems made of polyurethane, epoxy and silicone, the international Rampf Group guarantees a safe and comfortable journey into the future of electricity.
Thermally conductive pastes (gap fillers) from Rampf Production Systems are mainly used for components in power electronics. So they ensure z. B. in the cooling of assemblies in the field of automotive electronics an optimal heat transfer from the component to the heat sink.
Due to the increasing electrical power densities, the heat energy that must be transferred increases, and thus the filler content of the thermal paste. The highly filled pastes up to 90% fillers thus provide ever greater demands on the pump system, as they tend to sediment, and act aggressively towards the metering component. Selecting the right dosing gets thereby a significant impact on process safety.
The supplier of systems for processing one-, two- and multi-component reactive plastic systems has developed low-wear piston metering pumps KDP for the application of heat-conducting pastes for low maintenance and maximum precision. The systems can be used universally and can apply thermal paste with a dosing rate of over 10 g / s. They work according to the principle of volumetric forced dosing and dose independent of pressure and viscosity.
The servo drive technique enables a speed-variable material discharge and thus the setting of any desired mixing ratios in 2K materials. The optimum adaptation to the process conditions is complemented by the servo-electric translation principle.
The reactive plastic systems from Rampf Polymer Solutions based on polyurethane, epoxy and silicone offer a wide range of mechanical, thermal and chemical properties. The products are used worldwide in numerous e-mobility applications such as in charging plugs for electric vehicles - material 2K PUR casting compound, Relais /plug potting - material 2K epoxy potting compound, for the battery cover - material 2K silicone foam and in the battery sensor - material 2K silicone potting compound
The potting and sealing systems are coordinated tailored to the needs of customers: all colors, shapes and geometries are possible. The systems are RoHS-compliant, meeting the highest standards of the test standards and listings, among others UL 50, 94 UL, RTI and OBJS2.
Picture above: Thermally conductive pastes guarantee an optimal heat transfer from the component to the heat sink. But the highly filled pastes with up to 90% fillers place the highest demands on the pump system.
