Heinrich Kipp Werk is expanding its range to include practical locking elements that connect two separate plates with a defined force. Secure and complete clamping is achieved with just one movement. With new rotary tension bolts and ball lock pins, the manufacturer is adding several locking options to the existing range.
The K1061 turnbuckles are locked by a 90 ° turn from the “Off” position to the “On” position. A cross pin connected to the handle is pushed into a clamping plate. The pin engages the plate and clamps the components tightly together. A click signals the closing or - with reverse rotation - the opening. The rotary clamping bolt is also available in a flat version. The knobs of the locking elements are made of thermoplastic or stainless steel, while the housing is made of nickel-plated steel. The matching clamping plates for rotary clamping bolts are available separately.
The new K1063 ball lock pins are available in various designs with different sizes as well as holding and pull-out forces. These are used for changing devices in the assembly area or wherever manual adjustment or quick set-up is required, for example for height adjustment in automatic systems. All items are suitable for quick clamping of two panels of the same or different thickness. To do this, the button must be pressed and the ball lock pin pushed into the intended receptacle. The panels are tensioned by releasing the button. The tension is released in exactly the opposite way.
The ball lock pins are available in stainless steel or with a twist grip. The repeat accuracy for screwed in and inserted ball lock pins is ± 0,25 mm and can be increased with the help of additional locating bolts.
