After the transition year 2013 Eberspacher is facing a growth spurt: The Esslinger Group recorded in the last financial year, a moderate growth of 3,2%. The result was as expected significantly. The consolidated net income, at 19,5 million euros, well below the previous year's figure of 71,5 million euros. The result was affected by the high level of expenditure for the European commercial vehicle business, but also for ensuring the future competitiveness of the largest manufacturing plant of Eberspacher group in Neunkirchen, Saarland.
The number of employees rose 2013 annual average to 7,3% to 7888 persons. 4.234 employees were active in Germany, 3654 abroad.
