On the basis of its aluminum structure panels in sandwich construction, Witte offers a variety of intelligent driverless transport systems (AGV) for fully automatically controlled loading systems. These are optionally rail-guided, transponder-guided or drive autonomously.
In addition to significantly more space for production, the newly furnished hall also offers an extensive test area for extensive loop journeys of fully assembled and ready-to-ship transport systems.
"With the capacity expansion, we are primarily responding to the growing international demand, but we also see it as a strategic decision with our future focus on automation," said co-managing director Jens Düffert, explaining the investment decision.

Witte is currently investing in other areas as well. For example, when expanding the machine park with new three- and five-axis CNC machines, with the broadband connection with 600 Mbit / s that has just been made, or the use of specialized software tailored to Tisax requirements.
