Traxit lubricantThe Kluber Lubrication München SE & Co. KG, Munich, Germany takes over the Traxite International GmbH, Schwelm, Germany. The purchase agreement covers all company shares, including the international companies. With the takeover, the specialist for lubricant and services for the wire industry to form a new Klüber business unit.

Traxit supplies the Wire drawing industry for 139 years with a complete range of lubricants for all applications. Since its beginnings in 1881, the company founded in Schwelm, Germany, has developed into one of the largest drawing lubricant manufacturers in the world. The company has production facilities in Germany, China and the USA. The lubricants are sold worldwide in branches, sales partners and representatives in more than 150 countries with 150 employees.

The head office remains in Schwelm

Traxit will continue to be responsible for the operational management of its businesses. The company's headquarters will remain in Schwelm. The strategic management is geared towards long-term growth. 

“We have been pursuing an active acquisition strategy for many years to complement our existing business. Highly developed quality products and services for the manufacture of wire are a very good addition to our existing portfolio in this regard, ”says Claus Langgartner, CEO and spokesman for the management of Klüber Lubrication.
