University of Linz launches courses of study on artificial intelligence

Starting in winter semester 2019, students at Johannes Kepler University Linz can do their Bachelor's or Master's in Artificial Intelligence. The AI ​​courses are among the first of their kind in Europe. In addition to computer science, mathematics, and machine learning, it is now also important to classify artificial intelligence in the overall social context of the content that is taught to students at the JKU.

The broad education is intended to open up opportunities for graduates in many areas of industry and economy, for example in the control of flows of goods, in the evaluation of large amounts of data or in process optimization.
