The dispenser brand “Preeflow” is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. With its systems, it offers the optimal solution in microdosing technology when it comes to high-precision results and special customer requests. The precision metering pumps are used globally as volumetric metering systems and have developed into the workhorse of Viscotec.

"Smaller, more precise, more economical" - In the dosing technology sector, the trend is clearly towards downsizing. The challenge here: dosing must become ever more economical and precise. These demands increasingly come from the medical technology, aerospace, electronics, photovoltaic and automotive industries. This is where the volume and precise microdosage of fluids of various viscosities, such as adhesives and solder pastes, is becoming increasingly important.

The "Eco-PEN" supplies a wide range of applications with the dosing of viscous, structure-sensitive and solid-laden fluids in high quality and very small quantities. The performance data of a dispensing process depend not only on the technology, but also on the design of the dispenser and the extent of the quality inspection during manufacture and before delivery.

Almost 100% repeatability

All Preeflow components are subject to the highest quality tests. The volumetric dosing precision of ± 1% and the repeatability of a strong 99% can be traced back to the exact manufacture of the components, which are subject to particularly strict internal quality requirements for each individual element and each system.

One of the most important core competencies of Viscotec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH and thus also of Preeflow is the highly developed production of rotor and stator. Even the raw materials of the elastomer for the stator are tested for the highest quality. Elastomer elements are z. B. manufactured to the 100stel mm exactly.

Every rotor-stator system is subject to standardized, constant, detailed testing. For example, a 100% check of the stator dimensions is carried out with a measuring device based on computer tomography technology. The chamber volume of each individual rotor-stator system is checked using standardized tests based on weight and image evaluations

The Eco-PEN, "Eco-DUO" and "Eco-Spray" dispensers are equipped with the extremely chemical-resistant "Vischem" elastomer as standard. The specially developed rubber compound offers high compatibility with aggressive materials and is optimally mechanically resilient. All elastomers in contact with the product in the Eco-PEN and Eco-DUO are made from this protected mixture.

Strict quality controls

Independent studies show that the Eco-PEN provides excellent values ​​when compared directly with a jet dispenser and a time-pressure system. While other systems use c_pValues ​​<1,33 are not even process-capable, the Preeflow Eco-PEN achieves a c as process capability index_pValue of 4,26.
