Lens for UV micro material processing

Jenoptik has expanded the “Jenar” F-Theta lens series for laser material processing to include a lens for the UV range: the F-Theta full quartz lens for 355 nm applications, with a focal length of 56 mm and a scan field of 22 mm, makes a lot possible small spot diameters down to 4,5 µm. It is specially designed for use in micro material processing and is suitable for applications with ultra-short pulses.
The F-Theta lens family fulfills the requirements of almost all standard processes for micro and macro material processing with laser light. The lenses are extremely robust with high damage threshold.
The adhesive-free lens technology and the assembly of the lenses in a certified clean room help to ensure that all lenses are used without contamination and long-term stability. Every single lens is checked and measured. For applications that require a lens change due to product or process requirements, the replacement of F-Theta lenses is possible without major adjustments to the laser system.
