The silicon pump models with a minimum size of 3,5 x 3,5 x 0,6 mm3 with simultaneous high backpressure and absorbency enable new products in the area of diabetes, tumor, hormone or pain therapy systems as well as implants.
The larger stainless steel micropumps are mainly used for infusion and vacuum therapy for the treatment of chronic wounds. The piezoelectrically driven pumps are self-priming, bubble-tolerant and sterilizable.
