Direct digital signal processing in the sensor head

The Elcomat 5000 is a further development of the globally proven Elcomat 3000 with newly developed hardware and software. What is new is direct digital signal processing in the sensor head, which significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio.

The 5000 offers one 10 times higher measuring frequency as well as a larger dynamic range (measuring range/measurement uncertainty). The alignment aid integrated into the measuring device allows simple, quick and precise adjustment of the autocollimator, which can also be carried out by non-specially trained personnel.

The measuring device consists of one Sensorhead and an intelligent display module. This means that the autocollimator can be operated independently without a PC/laptop. One is new Display module Integrated software that allows straightness to be measured quickly and easily on-the-fly. In the Angle measuring modules The MRP 8000 series combines high-resolution measurement technology with resilient bearings. This highly integrated system solution for high-precision rotary axes replaces the customer's bearings and remains unaffected by off-center tipping loads. In addition, the MRP 8000 angle measuring modules come to the machine manufacturer as a finished assembly with specified and defined properties. This eliminates all critical assembly processes during cultivation.

In addition to accuracy, the main focus in the development of the ERP 1000 type modular angle measuring devices was on flexible integration into the overall system and the robustness the measurement recording is in the foreground. The ERP 1000 series angle encoders are particularly suitable for applications in which constant speed control or high position stability at standstill are required.
