caspar0112The composite plain bearings from Caspar Gleitlagertechnik Permaglide, Glycodur and CA are maintenance-free and are offered in different combinations of sliding layer and carrier plate. The so-called dry sliding bearings consist of several materials whose special properties have been optimally combined. These bearings usually consist of 3 layers: the carrier plate, an intermediate layer made of porous sintered bronze and a top layer made of special plastic mixtures.

Wear-reducing, low-friction plastics are used for the cover layer. The bearings thus work without the addition of other lubricants. They work dry. So that these special plastics do not flow under the high bearing loads, these are embedded in a support structure made of porous sintered bronze. At the same time, the sintered bronze produces a firm bond with the carrier plate and ensures good heat dissipation from the bearing point. Finally, the support plate gives the bearing its strength and enables easy assembly and further processing with at the same time smallest installation space dimensions of the bearings.

For bearings where lubrication is indispensable, there are also low-maintenance composite plain bearings. For the different applications, the provider has developed different combinations of overlay and carrier sheet.

Since 30, Caspar Gleitlagertechnik manufactures and distributes special sliding bearings made of all materials for applications where standard products no longer meet the requirements.
