"The stable movement behavior of the RTB bearings is achieved by the needle rollers guided in the axial cage and the large number of rolling elements with linear contact," explains Ulrich Schroth, Head of the Value Added Products division at Rodriguez. "In addition, these rolling bearings offer extremely precise mechanical processing that corresponds to precision class P4."

The dimensions of the axial and radial rollers as well as the inner and outer rings are designed in such a way that the intended preload values can be achieved during assembly of the bearing by correctly tightening the screws with the specified screw tightening torque. The tolerances are selected to be particularly tight in order to achieve a permanently constant and uniform performance.

The bidirectional axial / radial bearings are equipped with the integrated precision angle measuring system "Amosin": this inductive scanning system is just as precise as optoelectronic systems and also extremely resistant to unfavorable environmental conditions as well as mechanical loads such as shocks and vibrations.
