Suction pads for high-speed handling sheet metal

J. Schmalz presents the new high-speed suction cup SAXM with an extremely high stroke and a new internal structure. In this way, they ensure good adaptation to different workpiece contours and significantly increased transverse force absorption even on oiled sheets. This enables the fastest cycles and maximum output quantities, as when used in press lines. The new double sheet control DBD has a flexibly mounted sensor holder and ensures that the sensor is placed exactly on the workpiece. This reduces false signals and downtimes to a minimum when separating sheet metal.

The range of IO-Link capable ejectors is complemented by the next generation of extremely robust and powerful X-Pump SXPi / SXMPi. Through IO-Link, all handling cycles, valve activities, evacuation times and control cycles can be fully electronically mapped and controlled and monitored from a control room. The standard integrated air-saving function also ensures a significant reduction in compressed air consumption. With the single ejector SEAC 10 ECO, there is a new generation of vacuum generators with atmospheric ventilation. Compared with conventional Venturi systems, not only energy consumption but also installation costs are reduced many times over. The SEAC 10 ECO can be combined with all common tooling systems and installed quickly and easily. As a ready-configured, connectable system, the vacuum gripper FXC is presented. With only one gripper, sheets of variable dimensions, with recesses or structured surfaces, can be handled dynamically and accurately positioned.
