Pneumatic oil-free ball transfer units for plant construction and conveyor technology

Loads of up to 4000 kg per m² can be conveyed gently and practically frictionless on a film of air on the "fixed sliding" ball transfer unit from Orimair. This is particularly advantageous for soft and sensitive surfaces, since the load is absorbed over a large area and not at points. Conveyor tables or vacuum tables of any size can be built with the elements using the mosaic method. 

If a load moves over a table made of fixed sliding elements during overpressure operation, the valves located directly under the load open and generate an air film there. They work mechanically and oil-free, a higher-level control is not required. The robust and rustproof design is insensitive to dirt, oil and mechanical damage.

How to make the material flow more efficient with ball rollers

A simple, inexpensive and practically maintenance-free side channel compressor with an operating pressure of -400 to +400 mbar is sufficient for the supply of blown air. In the negative pressure version, the fixed sliding elements enable flexible and sealless vacuum clamping with pressures of up to -400 mbar.
