For fully automatic wire assembly Rittal the Wire Terminals WT C5 and C10. wires for cables and wires can therefore be assembled ten times faster than by hand. Networked from electrical engineering to production, users benefit from this cross-process solution for efficient wiring. The modular design offers numerous option packages. With them, manufacturers of steering and switchgear an automation solution that is future-oriented.

The wiring in the control and switchgear construction requires about 50% of the processing time when laying cables and wires. That's why it's a great asset when companies can speed up the assembly and electrical wiring of the cabling and also save costs while maintaining the same quality. This is made possible with the new fully automatic wire assembly machine, the Terminal WT C5 and C10. With it, wires can be individually printed and commissioned in black, white and light blue ten times faster than by hand.
The Advantages of the wiring are:
Based on the modular system structure, the configuration for wiring is individual on the hardware and software side customizable and expandable. The payback period is from 300 Control Cabinets only 2,5 years a year.
Industrial plug connections: Innovations from Harting
The Wire Terminal WT is available in two versions and flexible expansion stages. The WT C5 serves as Entry into the wire assembly. It has five conveyor pots for ferrules. It offers wire end treatment for wire cross-sections from 0,5 to 2,5 mm2 including cutting to length, labeling and crimping. The WT C10 has ten conveyor pots for ferrules with wire cross-sections of up to 6 mm². Both variants can be expanded to the full range of functions in the respective wire application.
The fully automatic machine can be easily operated via the 24" touch display serve. A new type of wire guide system with three feed blocks for a maximum of 36 wires ensures safe wire feeding and simple, quick changeover to other wires. 12 wire types can be routed per block. With the quick-change system, the feed blocks can be flexibly set up and changed. A RFID Transponder automatically secures wire armor. A simple change of complete wire bearing is possible.
Terminal blocks for time-saving push-in connection technology
Up to ten conveyor pots stand for the process-reliable supply of lots ferrules available, which can be easily refilled. The WT C10 thus offers maximum flexibility. The wire end treatment requires less set-up effort than with the previous version. A new servo-motor crimper allows the processing of different lengths of ferrules from 8 to 18 mm. The wires can be stripped between stepless partial and full stripping up to 20 mm.
The following three options are available for outputting the wires: per Ejection, rail system or chain bundler. The patented rail system can accommodate up to 2100 wires. Wire sorting is not required because the ready-made wires in wire rails are made to order in a row. In this way, the lined-up wires can be processed efficiently. The connection with the wire rail trolley Wire Cart is ideal for better picking at the workplace. Chain bundles can be made for more efficient wiring: Wires are sequentially arranged in the chosen order.

Companies can act flexibly as service providers. The three flexible output options can be implemented in a wire terminal. Along with the software Eplan Smart Wiring does this lead to an effective added value of the installation if the switch cabinet is wired.
