A highlight awaits visitors at the booth of Baumüller an industry 4.0 solution presented at a 3-axis handling unit that can be designed with an injection molding machine as a complete system. Control of the handling unit can be operated via a Euromap interface 67 both existing integrate new production systems or as an autonomous system with its own control.
If required, the user can conveniently access the visualization of the production data via smartphone and tablet. The integrated condition monitoring system can improve the availability of machines and reduce the costs for service and maintenance. For example, uncomplicated monitoring, diagnostics and troubleshooting via the user interface are possible.
Another product innovation comes from the control technology. With the new generation of high-performance Box PCs, users can independently implement hardware functions in a modular and future-proof way and thus optimally adapt them to the respective application.
The multi-axis controller "B Maxx 5800" enables the control of up to six drive axes, for example for robotics and handling applications as well as electric injection molding machines. The controller is very compact and can be configured individually and completely flexible. In this way, the user can freely combine the axis outputs in the controller and integrate the precisely fitting axis performance for each individual axis. With the safety functions of the multi-axis controller, every axle unit can be equipped with different safety functions.
With the internal gear shaft of DSC, DSP, DSD2 and DS2 servo motors, the drive specialist presents an interface variant that allows cost savings and space optimization for motor-pump combinations. The advantage here is that other costly transmission elements such as couplings or bellhousing simply eliminated. In addition, servomotors and high torque motors are presented in new variants such as with higher speeds or in new sizes.
The electric ejector drive DSC 135 has a special special bearing for the compensation of axial forces and offers very good dynamic properties. This will generate new economic solutions in this sector.
