Control combines milling and turning
This includes in particular the optimized motion control, which ensures short machining times with simultaneously perfect workpiece surfaces and very high workpiece accuracy. Under the name "Dynamic Precision", the manufacturer sums up functions for the time-efficient production of high-precision components. They allow a fast, vibration-free milling, among other things by the active vibration damping AVD. Dynamic Efficiency are hot functions for efficient heavy machining. They reduce the tendency of the machine to chatter due to the active chatter suppression ACC or increase the chipping performance with the rotary milling and the adaptive feed control AFC.
The detailed 3D simulation graphics of the TNC 640 allows a realistic simulation of - both on the machine and externally created - machining programs. Its meaningful editing preview allows the program to be pre-evaluated for missing information, problematic editing, and poor finishes. Thanks to the 3D simulation graphics, the machine operator can detect errors and thus optimization potential in an NC program even before the actual machining.
