ABM presents a new controller for intralogistics. It is versatile and improves processes in container conveyor technology. Its use is particularly suitable in combination with energy-efficient gearboxes and motors. The controller is initially designed for an engine power of up to 0,75 kW and works with both asynchronous motors as well as permanent-magnet motors easily in temperature ranges from -30 ° to + 50 ° C.
The Sinochron motors can be operated sensorless without encoder feedback and are thus highly reliable. They are characterized in practice by high efficiencies, high power density and compact dimensions. Users can easily install and commission the controller. The simple and reliable installation is ensured by pluggable connections. Pre-assembled cables can be connected without special tools. Fast commissioning of the bus-capable controller ensures an NFC interface. Depending on the operating conditions, users simply set the required parameters via Near Field Communication (NFC) via PC or smartphone app.
The decentralized controller is designed for direct motor assembly. Alternatively, it can also be mounted separately from the motor in wall mounting. In addition, several drives can be operated on just one power supply (daisy chain). The die-cast aluminum housing is lightweight yet durable. Inserts even under harsh environmental conditions are easily possible. The novelty can be used flexibly in many intralogistics applications of container conveyor technology such as roller conveyors, belt conveyors or curved belts.
