berghof0115Berghof Automation introduces the Display controllers of the DC2000 series powerful all-rounders that combine control, visualization, communication interfaces and motion control in a compact housing while being very flexible. The extensive range of functions is available in a housing with minimal dimensions. The display controls are designed for minimum PLC cycle times and hard real time. For the necessary computing power provides a powerful, scalable 800 MHz arm CPU with a Cortex-A9 core.

The display controls are continuously programmed with the current Codesys V3.5. In combination with the Codesys Softmotion package, technologically sophisticated multi-axis drive applications can be developed. The configuration of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) can be carried out together with the PLC application in the same development environment. PLC functions can be called directly from the visualization.

A wide range of communication interfaces are integrated in the display controls: These include Ethernet, Ethercat master, CAN bus and CAN open master, RS-232 and RS-485. Other protocols such as Profinet, BACnet and Modbus RTU / TCP are also available. Permanently integrated digital and analog I / Os add convenient connection options to the device function. A slot for expansion cards enables additional device options to be implemented. A micro SD card slot can be used to easily integrate additional memory to the existing 256 MB RAM, 256 MB Flash and 100 kB FRAM.

The brilliant displays offer convenient operating functions. Devices with a 4,3-inch display (DC2004) and a 7-inch display (DC2007) are currently available. The two touchscreen devices are either equipped with a continuous, niche-free clean front film or with a capacitive, multi-touch glass front that is easy to operate. The front of the devices has protection class IP 65.
