The "PAC MH-1" series from Delta Electronics is a combination of motion control and closed loop control (VPS). Ethercat and DMCNET provide better synchronization. These communication interfaces support very powerful and highly precise control processes and are very well suited for high performance motion control systems.
The Ethercat master port enables a synchronous cycle time for multi-axis movements of up to 4 kHz and the automation of up to 64 controlled axes. With the built-in DMC Net-Master, twelve axes can be controlled. A maximum of 100 Ethercat slaves or 24 DMC slaves can be connected in the control. Continuous linear, arcuate, spiral, and high-speed interpolation models are easy to implement.
The MH1 series is suitable for many different machining processes and machine types such as laser engraving, frame and profile cutting machines, robotic arms, 5-axis CNC machine tools, EDM machines, waterjet cutting machines, injection molding and woodworking machines. The new controller differs from competitive products because of its integrated, application-specific programming interfaces (APIs), which greatly simplify implementation. The MH-1 series includes CNS control functions as well as robot, control and PLC functions in accordance with the IEC 61131 standard. The versatile software platform integrates CNC control, wired control and HMI.
