On the basis of customer-specific wishes, Jumo constantly expands the functionality of its Automation system "Mtron T". As innovations, a programmer with process steps, an optimized user administration and an extended process image editor are now available. As an option in the central unit, a programmer type is available especially for heat treatments or thermal processes. Up to 9 asynchronous programmers can be activated. This standard programmer type allows the specification of setpoint profiles. A setpoint profile forms a program together with the states of the control contacts.

For ripening, cooking and smoking systems or in heat, refrigeration, air conditioning and test cabinets a special programmer type is needed. In these sectors, process steps are defined by the plant manufacturer, for example as a PLC application. The user has no access to this because special knowledge about the functioning of the system is necessary. When entering the program in the setup program, the user supplements the process steps with the setpoints defined by the plant manufacturer to program sections. Examples of target values ​​are the chamber temperature or chamber humidity, the core temperature or the intensity of the smoke generator. Finally, the user defines the execution of the program sections as a program.

Furthermore, as part of the realization of the new programmer type, various functions have been expanded in the system and combined in the form of a new expansion stage. This includes the user administration extensions and the additions to the process screen editor. In the future, up to 50 users with ID, name and password can be managed in the system. It is possible to define up to 16 user groups in the setup program and to equip them individually with rights.

The multifunction panel can currently display individual process pictures up to 18. The process pictures are created via the process picture editor in the setup program. In the future, up to 16 levels can be defined in each process picture. When creating the process picture, the individual process picture objects are assigned to the respective level. Each process image level can be influenced by the soft PLC and the previously named user groups in terms of visibility and editability. Furthermore, the process picture object types are extended by points such as program selection and batch logging.
