Mitsubishi Electric shows a comprehensive look at the future of automation and drive families. In the starting blocks are the successors of the compact "Melsec FX"Series and the Modular Automation Platform"Melsec iQ "Platform, the brilliant HMI GOT2000 series as well as the high-end frequency inverter FR-A800.
The new compact Melsec FX5 series, the next generation of the Melsec FX family already sold via 13.000.000, boosts system performance and plant productivity compared to its predecessor. In addition, it contributes more to the reduction of total operating costs and energy consumption. The compact PLC is characterized by its particularly high functionality.
In addition, the new modular control concept Melsec iQ-R will be presented as a further development of the Melsec System Q automation platform. The modular PLC reduces the development effort and has extensive safety functions, improved debugging as well as optimized troubleshooting and brings with it a high energy saving potential.
The powerful high-end frequency converter "FR-A800" has been developed for classic mechanical and plant engineering and follows the FR-A700 series. Based on the latest technology concepts, the drives optimize plant economy, energy balance and increase productivity. Equipped with the latest security features and numerous network connections, the FR-A800 inverters are particularly user-friendly in integration and operation.
The next generation of HMI series "GOT2000" is characterized by a user-friendly design environment and advanced features that significantly reduce engineering times and costs. In addition, the GT27 model is the successor to the GT16 equipped with an intuitive operating concept with multi-touch function and gesture control. For the first time, the manufacturer offers white GOT models without front USB ports, especially for the food and beverage industry.
