The new C3 Compact Condition Controller from Unitro-Fleischmann are intelligent, open multi-master systems. With decentralized intelligence and integrated alarm management, they are self-sufficient and at the same time network-capable according to EN 14908 standard for integration into building automation. The hardware and software developed for this purpose uses the latest 32bit processor technology as well as common bus and communication systems.
With a compact 22,5 mm width, the snap-on modules with screw plug-in connection and internal top-hat rail bus can be combined and expanded as required. With the C3 system, users have a dynamically expandable telecontrol system for decentralized, fast acquisition and output of digital or analog data with worldwide access for visualization and remote parameterization.
Developed in a research cooperation with the Reinhold Würth University in Künzelsau, the C3 are suitable for monitoring and controlling supply and operating facilities. Their areas of application range from industrial and building automation to municipal facilities, energy supply and transport. Fault and danger messages, operational messages or production data, consumption levels as well as fill levels, measurement and emission values, presence reports, climate data etc. are recorded. Data and command output are recorded over 2 wires (LON bus) up to 5 km, Powerline (LON PLT) 2 wires up to 20 km or over high-voltage networks up to 5 km as well as via Ethernet for LAN and Internet, fiber optic cables or telephone (voice and VDS protocol).
Alarm management with its diverse message output can be carried out from any decentralized substation without a central computer. Process and system visualization takes place via the Internet at any location with remote programming and remote parameterization via PC or iPhone.
